Hey Carol! CS> Well, it was the best we had then ;-) Understood. Definetly not my cup of tea though. CS> Sorry. Front End Processor. Ah! That makes sense. I got it now. CS> I wrote the SOP for the Burroughs 2900 mainframe FEP Errrrr ... (S)tandard (O)perating (P)rocedure? CS> an NAM for that one . NAM?!?!?! I am guessing M = Merit. Beats me about the rest. NA = Not Available? ;-) CS> Yeah, but a DOS box with no reboot, running flawless for 8.5 CS> months is not to be sneezed at! I don't see why it shouldn't, unless the power goes down. If you don't give DOS too much to do then it is stable. However I can't see it being run on too modern of systems so as long as whatever you have it on hangs in there and can connect then it should be alright. Personally I prefer more out of a computer then DOS can handle, old or new equipment. I found DOS far too limiting. I don't miss it at all. - Maurice P.S. I give up.
