Then perhaps you should read it, all he did was acknowledge he had heard
the news reports. So it's official, he heard the story about the email on
the news, big deal.

Do a little reading about this particular farce please? Here are a few links:

Rumsfeld's mention of it (search for the word "buried")
 http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/middle_east/july-dec03/rumsfeld_09-10.html

A quick description of where the story originated and how all the
"official" sites picked it up from newsmax.com who picked it up
from an unverified email
http://urbanlegends.miningco.com/library/bl_mig_buried_iraq6.htm

an after the fact report of how official sites were reporting the
unofficial email sent to newsmax.com but this one has the pictures shown
all on one page in order so you can clearly see how it was JUST ONE PLANE.

Now if you can actually come back after reading all that and tell me with a
straight face that you don't think this was pure propaganda, then you must
not be half as smart as I thought you were. I mean feel free to claim there
are WMD buried all over Iraq, I don't know, but after researching this
particular 30-40 buried jets story, it's pretty clear even to me that it's
a bunch of bs. There were no jets buried, just an email with pictures of
one fuselage and no official confirmation that it was even found in iraq,
it could have been anywhere, including Texas.
