Here's one of the main points of controversy in here on this
`global warming' thing. And its the same in the `real' world
outside of Fido echoes;


These `warmist' proponents want to make all these dire pronouncements
on the subject of `global warming'...and insist on taking a large
part of our tax money to put into outfits like Solyndra and the rest,
and do so with the notion that nobody has the right to question what
they're doing with our money, and if what they claim its needed for
is even real!


We are just supposed to sit back and not question a situation that, as
time goes by, seems to be falling apart even as they throw more and
more of our money at it. And put regulations and controls into place
that restrict more and more our becoming energy independent of the Arab
world.


Much like the `warmist' bunch in this echo (and a few others), everything
is fine when they're pounding the `warming' podium...but ask a couple of
easy questions and they either fall strangely silent...or come out spewing
wild accusations and insults, if not being reduced to typing curses and
verbal abuse at me.


Such is the real world...


As time goes by...and this `global warming' thing becomes more and more
unfounded...the louder is the protests of `the science is settled..the
discussion is over'! And the more such claims are made...the more the
whole notion falls apart.


I grew up in New York state...in rural settings mostly, but living in
a city in New York is a quick street-wise education in itself.


Do you know what the game `three-toed Pete' is?


The `dealer has three cards...typically one is a face card.


They lay the cards face down on a flat surface and with fast hand
motions shift the positions of the cards in the `shuffle'.


They `show' you the card you're supposed to guess the position of in
order to pick it when the `shuffle' stops...then they turn it down
with the other two and begin the `shuffle'.


There are two `secrets' of three-toed Pete;


1. Of the other players (usually at least two or more others) *you* are
actually the only one who's real. The others are in on the con with the dealer
(shills).

2. When the `shuffle' begins, the three cards being `shuffled' aren't
even the same cards where the `target' card was turned face up to
show you it was `there' at all.


At some point, either the `dealer' or one of their shills distracted you
for an instant in time, during which the dealer makes the switch from the
cards he showed you at first, to three exactly-same cards missing the
`target' card!


They even (seemingly by accident) `mark' the target card...usually by
bending one corner of it slightly...or putting a fingernail scratch on it, and
will deal a few hands that you don't get to bet in...and (naturally) one of
the other `players' (a shill) will win a few hands easily and get paid big
bets, which makes the mark (you) think this is gonna be a pushover!


Only when the mark puts up money and picks the `marked' card, thinking to
do a quick easy win....they lose! They CAN't win. Because the target card
isn't even there!


Well...quite by accident...somebody `hacked' e-mail traffic between some
of the top people in the `global warming' alarmist camp at East Anglia
University climate research unit.


E-mail traffic that actually exposed the whole massive scheme. With a simple
reading of several of them its becomes perfectly obvious that the whole
thing is a hoax!


A hoax about money. Taxpayer money. Taxpayer dollars for `studies',
`subsidies', `research', `green-energy start-ups'...etc etc etc.


A situation that costs so much money, in which nobody wants to answer a
few simple questions in regard to, is something that just BEGS to be
investigated by a Congressional committee! And fast! And Al Gore, one of, if
not THE biggest proponent of, and who has made untold MILLIONS from...
should be hauled in front of that committee, and closely questioned on it.


This is a huge scam thats been perpetrated on the Western world by some
pretty clever scam artists.


Just be the very fact alone that people are;


1. Refusing to answer questions on it

2. Deleting pertinent information and message traffic on it

3. Are deliberately altering past temperature data to make modern
times appear warmer than it truly is

4. Refusing to share computer-modeling structure on it


(and a lot more)

....those few questions alone should be making alarm bells go off
all over the place!
