Hello Lewin,
Thanks for the reply - the responses are:

ATI3 CL-MD1414AT/EC
ATI6 ERROR
AT+H1 ERROR
AT+FREV? HD94-HM64-HEC15
AT-SDR=? ERROR

So - lucky or not?
My main problem in operation is receiving faxes from certain machines. Some
(mainly traditional machines) are OK but a friend in Canberra can only
connect occasionally. The process hangs in the "receiving fax
I.D." stage. He has a 28.8K Mymodem which used to talk to my old
Maestro 2400/9600 ok. It may be line level - FOLDS keeps reporting
"too loud" but while I can so ATS92=15 and get OK, FOLDS still
reports about -12dBm for tx level.
If can shed light - great!
Rgds,
Alan
