DB> Well, maybe I am some kind of wingnut David; but if so, at least
DB> I am left hand thread, maybe double lead. One lead is that the
DB> liberals refuted the conservative assertion that blacks were not
DB> the intellectual equal of the white man, and that therefore, they
DB> were not citizens. The refutation was to justify the rights of the
DB> blacks; *no such justification is necessary!@!*. That was my
DB> problem with the liberal party line.
I suffer some quiet-ish irritation when a term is turned loose
to mean something that it does not mean to most of whom it is
intended to describe .....I'm working to be better about it!
DM>> Nature's agenda (if She has one), riding on the back...
DB>> I would say not an agenda, but the result of natural selection,
I believe that "natural selection" is a gross oversimplification of
a much more involved process, both technical and motivational. My
"AGENDA", includes "natural selection" but is not "LIMITED" by it.
With your broad (seeming) unfettered views, It is a reach for me
to grasp your willingness to nudge near such narrow limitations.
..........Negotiable!!!
DM>> contributions not yet apparent? ......or now making, or
DM>> made in the past, considerable contributions NOT as apparent
DM>> to the limitations of human perceptions or measure.
DB> Ah, that is the problem; that we see some contributions, and many
DB> of the ones we can *see* are Aryan/Ashkenazic. As to the artistic
DB> and athletic contributions of minorities, we see that judging the
DB> *economic* value is difficult, and as you suggest, many assets of
DB> their origin goes unseen. But of what we *can* see, to say that
DB> it is without genetic endowment seems to try to prove a negative.
Not as yet so clear to me in among the "realities" of the
likely limited human experience. Seeing life as a game, we
can PLAY the "contributions" ...! Like any game, a looser is
created and nature is made to GRIN her widest (this is Her game).
My selfish saneless curiosity is more "BENT" to escaping
her pheromonish mind hold on us (at least for some few
unreasonable "MOMENTS".)
DM>> NOTE: One might think heavy for a long time and come to a very
DM>> logical conclusion that is wrong. Another, thinking not
DM>> at all, might conclude illogically correct .....if for
DM>> no better reasoning than .....................it WORKS!
DM>> I am old enough and not so smart ...that I can enjoy the
DM>> humor of options! .....not sure how old or smart you
DM>> are ........too? ;;
DM> ~"0."~ ... Dave
DB> BTW: what is this doo dad? <<
Sposssed to be bent legs
DB> Anyhow, I am reminded of the archetypal that Askenazic/Aryan, Mr
DB> Einstein, who could think long and hard, but his letters to the
DB> ladies of his heart are just as sappy as anyone else's. So, being
DB> smart is not quite good enough; one must be lucky enough to find
DB> the right set of data to work with. (GIGO).
....or the wrong set that might even be the better choice!
DB> But like the *theory* of relativity, I see a cosmology based
DB> on a translation of the fundamental Aryan view that Chaos split
DB> into a trinity- randomness, God, and the universe; only Chaos
DB> remained as it was in the beginning. God and the universe evolved
DB> togather. As I contemplate this idea, I see, that as you say,
DB> 'it WORKS!'. It takes God off the hook of responsibility for
DB> all the bad shit that happens, but lets him remain benevolent.
In as much as "strata of knowings" are still subject more to
denied poetry than Aryan brilliance, I cannot find fault with
your "TRINITY" as contemplated. Even I like to forgive God!
DB> As for me, I got to be 58 a lots faster than I thought I would; I
DB> ain't nearly as smart as I look, and don't score all that well on
DB> IQ tests. Maybe I am dyslexic; I am always looking at other sides
DB> most folks prudently ignore.
Glad you have a few warts,,,,,,makes me feel less lonely!
