I went shopping with a friend Friday and he bought a bee-oo-tiful Taylor
801 Limited.  Limited because it had abalone inlay around the entire
perimeter of the top.  And boy did it play and sound nice.  I guess for
$1600 you really can get a great guitar!   Hell, the case looked like it
should cost about $300.
