WA> There are still a couple of glitches, One involves
WA> my mouse not working outside of windows

Windows 95? If the mouse works in Windows it should work in the
Windows 95 MS-DOS Prompt (the DOS shell). If you have enough
resources (spelled memory) it may not be necessary to restart
your computer in DOS mode. Just click Start, Programs, MS-DOS
 Prompt.

If it is necessary to run in DOS with Windows shut down (you get
a prompt to the effect that Windows is running and therefore the
program won't run) you need a DOS start-up file that loads a DOS
mouse driver. I recommend mouse.com from your DOS 6.22 disk. If
you copy this file to your Windows Folder (directory) it is in the
DOS path and will be found and loaded. There is a file called
AUTOEXEC.BAT in the root directory (folder) of your C: drive.
Open this file in with Windows Notepad. Type the following:
        mouse.com
Save the file. Your mouse should work in DOS unless it requires a
 special driver (most don't).
WA> the other is that the large floppy drive doesn't
 WA> work.

Is the drive set up in your computer CMOS?
Is the cable plugged in correctly inside your computer?
 You can buy a 5 1/4" floppy drive for about $20 - $50.
 Hope this helps.
