DC>>> That I know! But, is a floppy drive considered 1/2 height?

 ml>>> yes, i've a few fullheight floppy drives here... they're in the IBM
 ml>>> PC and IBM PCXT... i had to replace one in the IBM PC with a
 ml>>> halfheight one... i wonder what they call the 30meg in that
System36 i
 ml>>> have here? or the eight inch floppy... are they double or tripple
 ml>>> height?

 DC>> Didn't they have some double-height hard drives?

 DD> The system 36 we had at work had a full height drive - 5.25
 DD> inches wide, and 3 inches high.

that one must be one of the newer ones... i'll have to dig this unit out
from under the bench and see what year it is if i can find that info...

 DD> I used to have a full height 70Mb 5.25 inch HDD in my XT.

i've a few MFMs fullheights here that i ran with RLL formatting and card to
gain an extra 50% of their capacity...

  ie: 40Meg MFM == 60Meg RLL
