Usually one gets whats one pays for.

NM> Following are the details from the add.

NM> Dynalink V.34 28,800 External FaxModem $310
NM> Dynalink V.34+ 33,600 Internal FaxModem $275.

does that mean you can flash the USR flashrom into it?

NM> Austel Approved and have a 5 year warranty.

Recently one of my USR Courier owning users spent some time in Far North
Qld. He polled twice a day for mail and connected at 33,600 nearly every
time.

Plenty of USR Couriers out there if the Dynalink will connect with them at
33,600 - still all the other 28,800 modems to connect to as well.

The V.34+ Dynalink can't be any worse than the V.34 Maestro.
