Looks like Tom's is a TI rebadge of the Sportie, but like you, I've been
wondering about the V.34+ Dynalink as well.

Might be a bit hard, given that the PLCC EPROMs are no longer socketed.

It's incredibly easy to set up a USR.  AT&F1 (plus &K0 to solve
Tom's problem), and away you go.  What could be easier than that?
