A friend has two problems: A Zoom RPI modem with V.32bis, and a
Packard Bell 486SX computer. She is using Qmodem 4.6TD. When she dials
in to a BBS, the phone directory refuses to leave the screen when a
connect is made. The BBS menus pass by at the bottom of the directory
screen. I have tried every change in setting I can think of to delete
this problem, but it will not go away.
Her modem setup string is correct, and RPI is enabled in Qmodem.
Has anyone encountered this problem and successfully corrected it. I
sure need a cure if there is one (other than a different modem.)
