There are other computers apart from IBM PCs, and not all chips are
designed exclusively for the PC market. As reported, they have twice as
much on-chip FIFO buffering, which could be useful if you have special
software to take advantage of it. On the speed side, I've yet to hear of a
modem (apart from parallel port models) that can use more than 115,200bps
anyway.

I understand Cybcig has an option to use ASCII characters rather than the
IBM PC-specific graphics characters you've posted above. Would you please
set it up to use only ASCII in this conference, as it's for the use of
people using _all_ sorts of computers, some of which will show garbage for
these?
