Ok so if you want to get people to sign up, raise the minimum wage so they
don't need to be career military. You'll get a bunch of folks signing up
for a 2 or 3 year tour figuring they can spend the entire time in the
theater where they can earn $100K/year.
Money can provide a whole lot of motivation, not to mention making the guys
there a whole lot happier about being there and at the same time showing
that we do appreciate them for what they are doing.
