I had being able to see the little trademarks, etc., on the pieces in mind -- but of course I'm sure you knew what I meant. I used to love that as a kid and more recently would make a pest of myself at my dealer's garage. The big thing to dissassemble when I was a kid was junked TVs and radios because we could usually recycle tubes, unsoldered capacitors and resistors and make simple circuits from books.
