There is pressure, and pressure.  My wife works as essentially a
just-above-minimum-wage backroom clerk in a discount clothing store, and I
have to endure her harrowing tales of infighting, back-stabbing, and a
ex-manager-become-backroom-supervisor who alternates between friendliness
and raging bitch.  The pressure is awful!  And I sit there thinking, this
sounds like a relaxing job.  A truck comes in, you unload the clothes, you
put them on a rack, and you wheel them out to the floor.  Oh, the strain!

It's all relative.
