Realize that BBSing is a niche hobby and not everyone knows about it like
they do the Web, so you are going to not have as much activity on here as
you do on the Web.  I don't know if you realize it but you're really
comparing apples to oranges with the Web/USENET and Fidonet.

For the record, there are a LOT of USENET groups gated into Fidonet...just
look at the Elist.  I gate USENET groups into my BBS but 95% of the
postings are spam and garbage these days.

I still remember when Fidonet was the big thing...and being on IRC when the
Berlin Wall came down, watching it "live". ;)
