Hey all! I use a Netcomm M34F modem on the default settings and have had very few problems getting connects to BBS's, though connects to a particular BBS are a continual headache i.e. I have random success when I try and connect. It may connect properly first try or take a few. There will be some sort of connect - I can tell that by the modem LED's. Telix will say "there has been a connect at 2400" and there will be a few garbage characters and that's as good as it gets. The only way I can disconnect is to turn the modem off and try and connect again and eventually it connects normally. Any suggestions on how can I get around this problem?? BFN __ Anthony BTW, connects to the BBS I am messaging from are always excellent. ___ Blue Wave/DOS v2.21 --- Maximus/2 3.00* Origin: The Library Network * (09) 257-1309 (3:690/613) SEEN-BY: 50/99 620/243 623/630 624/300 625/100 640/820 690/115 245 254 370 SEEN-BY: 690/388 416 426 500 501 613 619 640 643 660 676 682 718 742 750 SEEN-BY: 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 899 932 934 712/515 713/888 714/906 SEEN-BY: 800/1 @PATH: 690/613 660 711/409 808 934 |
