G'day John!

 JP> Funny. With W2, \V1, %U2 and S95=47, the modem reported this:

 JP> CONNECT 28800/LAP-M/V.42bis/LAPM/V42BIS
                                ~~~~~~~~~~~~
 JP> That's why I saw (still am) confused ...
With good reason.  AFAIK this should *not* happen.  There's obviously a
glitch in the SmartModem code as it relates to M11Fs.
 JP> Removed the S95=47 and connects report as:
 JP> CONNECT 28800/LAP-M/V.42bis
Yeah, that's normal.
 JP> All I want is the /V.FC appended (if it's a V.FC connect -- which it
 JP> is).
If you've seen my other messages by now you'll realise that your M11F will
never have "/V.FC" in the CONNECT message.  Alas!
IMHO it should be there to differentiate between V.32bis and V.FC at 14k4.
