It is so nice to know that I have been missed! :-)

I live alone and so am taking care of myself. Thankfully
I do have people who helped with meals that all I have
to do is pop them into the microwave (what would we do
without microwaves?) and I have friends who will do my
wash until I'm released to do the lifting and pushing
necessary for me to do it.
Yes, I have done some stitching, although not x-stitch.
Just finished a pillow. I did all the top stitching and
added buttons from my collection to the pillow. The fabric
had buttons printed on the fabric so I added buttons to
those places and around the edge. Then my mom will finish
sewing it together. Actually it is a pillow cover that
can be removed for washing. So I could only sew on buttons
from my collection that could be washed if necessary.
