I listen to a channel on Sirius satellite radio called "Classic
Rewind"-- not so old classic rock.  After 20 years of 60's-70's
classic rock, a change of pace with more modern stuff.  I am about Door'd
to death, for example.

I usually listen to the 60's channel on the way in to work: there's a split
for you-- it covers about 1962 to 1971 (more of a style thing than strict
dates) but there is still a lot of early music that sounds distinctly
different from the later, say, post-65 stuff (gee, what was happening
around then?).  Nice thing about this channel is that it has more pop and
Motown so it is not strictly classic rock (sometimes I like a little Dusty
Springfield in the morning) and, despite my comparative youth here (1962)
there is some nostalgia involved.
