Hi, Ed-

EV> I click on the Icon to "Safely Remove Hardware",

I've run into that problem before. I have a little USB dongle that I can
plug a SD card into and then plug into a USB port. Under Windows, I've had
that problem, especially with XP. What you need to do is physically unplug
the reader, flip the lock switch on the card, put the card back in, and plug
the reader back in. I don't know -why- you have to do this but I do know it
works for me.

Hope this helps.

Later,
Sean
