-> Did they get rid of it permanently or just move it?

It was taken down "to be put into storage" at least "until something
could be decided upon what to do with it." Even though the African
American community has lobbied very vocally for it's destruction.

We both know what that means it will never see the light of day and when
thye find it, the valuable bronze will be gone and it will be beyond
salvage.

-> Thing is, when you forget your past, it really does repeat itself. Being so
-> freaked out about Trump's election should make them realize that.

Just like the Louisville falls fountain was forgotten... put in storage
and when a recent inquiry about it was made they found it rusting in an
outdoor storage yard beyond repair.

Just like they wanted to know where the cast iron fountain that once sat
at the park at the end of 8th street and main. It was moved to storage
so that Muesum Plaza could be built... the project fell through and when
they looked for it it was last recored as sitting in the weather and
rusted... and someone, not knowing what it was, sold it for scrap metal.
(This barely made the news since Ft. Nelson was also known as the
"slave block" for Louisville).
