SHIP-CS 1.0 Software

GENERAL: 
You have heard the callsign but you do not know the name of the ship
....  well then this is the programme you are looking for; SHIP-CS 1.0
The programme has an easy to search database of 2905 Callsigns (yes,
almost 3 thousand) of ships registered in the BeNeLux.  Furthermore
transmission info/frequencies of Scheveningen Radio and Oostende Radio
can be displayed as well as a complete list of all Callsign Series
used WorldWide.
 
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Computer:             IBM-compatible AT(tm) 386, 486 or Pentium
Diskdrive:            1.44 MB (3,5")
                      (programme is distributed on a single 1.44 MB
                       floppy - Harddisk space for installing SHIP-CS
                       is about 2.4 MB).
Memory (extended):    4 MB or more ...
Operating system:     Windows 3.1/3.11 or Windows '95 (mouse required)
                      Perhaps the programme will also work with
                      Windows 3.0 but I have not been able to test it.
Monitor:              (S)VGA (640*480 or better ...) 256 Colors.
Recommended hardware: 486 or Pentium, 4 MB (or more) Extended Memory
                      and a (S)VGA (640*480) monitor (256 colors).
 
HISTORY:
Date: 27th April 1997 (SHIP-CS v1.0)
- Completion of the first version of SHIP-CS.
 
NOTES:
- It is NOT possible to change any of the data in the database but you
will receive the LATEST available database-file (updated on an almost
monthly bases).
- The programme was tested on a 386 40MHz, a 486DX2 66MHz and a
Pentium 120MHz computer and a color (S)VGA monitor in various
resolutions.  It might also work using other screen types (as yet, has
not been tested).
 
PRICE:
10 DUTCH Guilders CASH (this INCLUDES cost of postage in EUROPE).
It's almost for nothing hi, compared to the time it takes to programme
this kind of software; cost of postage I have to pay; the price of a
floppy and the envelope to put it in ....
