Princess de Jendayo, Rio & Paco's first daughter, left to go live
in her new home today. She took her own sweet time weaning--she weaned a
full two weeks later than any of her brothers ever did! And she was
FINICKY--she really preferred to only eat dried papayas and seed
mix--she never did really learn to like pellets. She'd *eat* them, but
only if there was nothing else around. What a spoiled kid! 
Her new owner plans to breed her when she's old enough--her
husband-to-be just recently hatched at my friend Adair's house. When he
is old enough to go home with her, the two of them will grow up
together. She will only be 2 months older than he is, so that should
work out well. In the meantime, the two of them will be pets, and will
end up spoiled rotten! This new owner has already had her husband make a
huge playgym for Princess (whose new name is Sunrise). She has a huge
cage, and the freezer is full of all sorts of great bird foods. I
hope I can find such enthusiastic new owners for all my babies! Princess
Sunrise will be happy and well cared for there, I'm sure.
...but I'm going to miss the little brat. I made sure to get visiting
rights before I sold her!
