Oops, I was confusing it with my old HST 9600, which doesn't support V.34
(only V.22bis).  I've never tried HST with this Courier, and after figuring
out what needs to be disabled, I likely won't be bothering either... 

S56=192 to disable V.FC and V.34
S54=128 to disable V.8
B1 in originate mode to force HST

By the time the modem was configured for HST, I'd have lost interest.
