Did you see any plastic or duct tape when they dug that plane up, I didn't.
I agree you can easily seal something against sand, but it wasn't sealed...

Yep, but those are used for parts or left to rot, and if they really want
to recommission one, that have to basically rebuild it.

I never said the press didn't do that, but since there are different
leaning press publications, the story does usually get out.
