Is that a financial decision or did he just get tired of getting shot!
:-( It's too bad. Just like everything else, the really good shops are
giving way to the really big shops. If it is not wrapped in plastic,
they don't have it. Pretty soon, Shooter's World will be the only place
you can even think guns.
 >I am sure that I can still grab that 99 for $250 including tax. Any

DN> Does it have the rotary magazine or the removable box? I thought ALL
DN> the old take downs had the rotary, you've got me confused.....
It looked like a box but I can call.
DN> I believe the rotary mag. is one of the really great features of the
DN> 99, I like the box mag. but not as well...
DN> Where's the safety on this thing? Is it on the tang or is it down on
DN> the side of the lever? That'll help identify it.
I can call them tomorrow. Since Jeff has opened his shop, instead of
just dealing at the gunshows, he's a lot more official and businesslike.
In the old days, he just sold at shows and entertained a few friends and
good clients at his home. I would go over there and spend an hour at a
time, looking over new acquisitions and shooting the breeze with him. I
learned a lot about guns, especially military, over there.
