You sent a thankyou note to your mother???? What did you thank her for?
Your life? Not acknowledging you or what? Perhaps she has acknowledged you
and I just don't know it. So what happened to the two jobs that you were
pretty sure you had. I beleive you told me in some computer field or
something.
I had not talked with you since as things have been hectic here in
Chesterfield County; so I assumed you got one or the other. Rite Aid - is
that near that gross x rated movie theater near VCU area? Sorry but I
have a vivid picture of where that is; as even when persons were morally
polite and upright; that theater was there. Actually, the form of x rated
adult theme movies was what your kids now see on t.v. but yup, even when
I lived on Floyd and Strawberry Street - that place was there. There was
a drugstore next to it; now that I recall. When I worked at vital stats
at the young age of 18, at 1227 West broad Street; that drugstore was
right around the corner. Lots of good memories in that part of RichmondAs
for me, the 50's was the era to grow up in; lots of families fashioned
after Ozzie & Harriett, etc. My kids don't think families were ever like
that; that for entertainment; you actually talked to each other; played
board games, cards. There fun is malls; fast food joints; video games and
the like. Sad how modern technology has been a ruination to simple good
clean living. Well, I am thinking of writing a book; so I am getting
carried away here. :) actually, there is not much else to do at
Goochland Women's Farm; so I am getting good practice. Haven't heard from
Sherry for awhile, have you? Oregon Hill; yikes; that is bad. That is
where that fat guy lives that walks the streets; and hits all the bars; who
made that nude calendar, isn't it? I would know his name if I heard it. The
girl that sits next to me at Rockwood Counseling; hangs around the corner
nooks and crannies in the fan; shockoe bottom; and Oregon Hill. She met
this guy in a bar or something. You need to get going and find a job
that you can get things together; get a car, etc. Do your adoptive parents
not have resources to help you out? family loyalty stinks sometimes. As
I said; where are the good ole days???
You ought to try some bbs games. It is good for brushing up "thinking
skills"; socializing with us intelligent creatures (...:).....). Gives
you something to talk about in chat mode, etc. Hey, why don't you,
I know you can spell and read?
gotta run. I am going to be behind in a few of the games; I didn't have time
to get on yesterday. I babysit Paula's baby boy, Mitchell; and yesterday,he
was not nice.
you out to try to get to the meetings; I hear that attendance is low.
Several of the backbones have met with circumstances that keep them away.
Gene Pembleton had to give it up to finish his masters in social work; which
he did. Kathryn Wallo has been teaching math classes on wednesdays. A lot
of persons left over an idiot; and I seldom attend because of personal
reasons. It is a shame; that the support aspect was crushed by the
contention over rules; money; positions and power. Alot of past members
are doing some searching on their own; as they live too far away; in
Dinwiddie, Petersburg, etc. I get lots of calls and have changed my
techniques. I send them to do their own legwork....... I held too many
ungrateful hands.... so this way; they go find their own stuff; and there
is no one waiting in the limelight; waiting to take a bow. :)
How about the new motorola company; it just dawned on me?
See ya;
