PC> Does the modem have a hard reset mode, i know the Dataplex and Netcomm PC> have where you hold one or several buttons while powering on to force PC> a hard reset to a known state, good for when you given a modem and you PC> don't know what's been done to it. Not that I know of, Supra manual gives you a lot of commands and then tells you that you are using them at your own risk and you will have to send it back to the factory, if things go wrong. At least they give you these " undocumented commands " but don't explain them. USR are the other way 'round. They tell you that you can do things, but the commands to do them are a secret.
