I kept up on statistics when I worked with LMPD/LMDC.  I65 is the
"Drug Corridor" where much that comes over from Latin America travels to
Chicago and beyond.  It is one of the major drug pipelines and it has
been going on since 1995 when I started working for the department,
probably sooner than that.

There were record cocaine busts even back in the day.  Unfortuately
cocaine used to be the strongest thing that we saw now there are much
worse things coming up the drug pipeline.
