I'm also using D1.
Using the Tmemo.LoadFromFile and TMemo.Clear commands sets it to
FALSE in an app I've been working on.
I was sort of suprised that the SaveToFile method didn't reset it
to FALSE again, but I just set it myself, which seems to work fine.
I'm not doing anything in the OnChange routine, or setting it to
true in any way.  I *am* checking to see what its status is before
letting them load a new file, exit the app, etc.  It seems to work
just fine.
