subject: REUNION WITH RELINQUISHING MOTHER

As a relinquishing mother I have recently had a reunion with my son who is
now 36 - and it was a lovely experience. I have gradually introduced him to
my other children and they have been very happy to meet him. However my
husband, whom I married a few years after my son was born and adopted - and
who has known about him since we or our relationship became serious - does
not want to be involved with him in any way - to the point of him not being
welcome in my home. Can anyone in a similar situation or who has been
through the same situation give me any advice how to handle this - whether
time will resolve it eventually? I certainly hope so.
