Many people seem to forget that Rooney is a journalist, not just a
comic.  In recent months, he has written of his experiences in WWII,
including his days in India, where one of the popular vacationing
spots for soldiers was Kashmir.  Today, Kashmir is not much of a
destination for tourists, due to the fighting between Indian and
Pakistani military forces.

What will become of Iraq now that Saddam is gone?  What will happen
in Iraq once American troops leave the country?  Will there be internal
conflict?  Will there be another war between Iraq and Iran?  Will Turkey
decide to invade northern Iraq, putting an end to Kurdish hopes for a
free and independent Kurdish state?  Will the Christian minority in Iraq
be persecuted by the Muslim majority?  Will the majority Shiite Muslims
persecute the minority Sunni Muslims?  These questions, and more, have
yet to be answered.  Maybe some folks know the answers.  Or maybe there
are no answers.
