Not so... My system here (which is available via POTS as well as telnet)
is connected to the North American backbone and carries all of the
available echomail (and file distribution) areas, and provide these
services to a number of downlink systems (both via POTS and also utilizing
the internet as a carrier). Everything is available at no cost to my users
via dial-up, telnet (powerstationbbs.ca), and the files via anonymous ftp
(ftp.powerstationbbs.ca). If you (or anyone else) wants to set up a link,
just drop me a line to "powerstation" at "shaw.ca", and
we can see about setting something up.
