Thanks to those people who replied to my last cry for help.  I have a new
¨problem.  As I got no joy with WINFAX, I contacted the clowns I purchased
the ¨modem from and they said WINFAX won't work properly with Windows 3.1,
and said ¨I need to get BITWARE.  I got a copy of BITWARE from Dynalenk
Modums (Kiwi ¨accent) and it now works, sort of.  When I receive a fax,
status is OK etc, ¨but when I go to read it there is nothing there.  If I
send a fax, I am told ¨about halfway through the document it turns to shit
and becomes unreadable. ¨Once again, the machines at both ends say
everything was groovy.  Is this ¨perhaps some sort of Init string problem? 
As usual, the user manual is very ¨vague, and what is there seems to be
written for people with several degrees ¨in computer engineering (or seven
year olds).  Any assistance with this ¨fu{at}#$%g annoying problem will be
received with much rejoycing and cries of ¨"Jehova".  Thanks.
