-= Pete Replied to Wayne Hall about: Dynalink Modem =-

G'day Wayne

WH> Forgot to add, if I try and send a fax from MS WORKS, I get "MS
WH> WORKS caused a stack fault in module CTL3D.DLL at 0002:00CF" and
WH> a "close" button is then my only option. Later when I close
WH> Windows, I get a flashing cursor but no "C" prompt. If I send a
WH> fax from Notepad, no problems apart from what I mentioned
 WH> earlier.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Windows. :-)

WH> Please explain any techo replies in rooly simpel inglish.
 WH> Thanks.

I don't think your problem is to do with your modem rather it's
Windows screwing up, CTL3D.DLL is the lib that gives you the nice 3D
look to all your windows it doesn't have anything to do with comms.
Just on the off chance do you have STACKS=9,256 set in your config.sys
file, if not then try adding it and see if it helps.
