I presume things would go better if you 'd change DOS_BACKGROUND_EXECUTION
to =off in the environnemnt, Dos_settings.
Anyway, I do run Lotus 123r34 for Dos in Dosboxes, with
DOS_BACKGROUND_EXECUTION set to =on. It's the original, it 's more flexibel
and has more possibilities than that Quattro thing, and runs really at Warp
9. You 'd might think about it, if you can afford it. (Lotus 123R4.0 for Dos
is on the market now, and has the same speed, and more utilities)
On the other hand, Corel is to realese in due time the Corel Office for Java
(compatible with OS/2 Warp 4).
Quote:
"Corel's upcoming suite will include Java versions of applications based on
Corel Wordperfect, Corel Quattro Pro,...... all integretaed into a new GUI
framework. This new office will exploit the technological experience gained
by Corel from Corel wordperfect suite, as well as leverage the advantages of
the Java platform.........a preview of Corel Office for Java will be avaible
for download from Corel's Web site by the end of September...
End Quote
It's begin November now, but I haven't seen anything yet .
Anyway, you do have something to think about, now. :-)
