Hi there all,
            Im Having a problem making this modem work, It is a 
Netcom 28,8 Roadster, What happens is when i go to log on to any BBS i have
try a multitude of times for the modem to actually connect, it Dials Fine
and people have no problems connecting to me, its only when i try to
connect with other people, I believe it may be in the Init Strings i am
using, I dont know,
The confusing part is when i use the Win 95 software to log on to the
Internet it connects every time without fail, Never once has it not
connected to the net, Our net providers are IIG in cairns Qld Australia,
Also We find that when we do connect it doesnt always connect at 28,8 but
sometimes 26,4???   
if anyone has any ideas We would apreciate any help we could get,
