They sure went to great lengths to cover the Lawrence fiasco, didn't
they? Not that it worked. Hope Lawrence enjoys his new resting place,
and one can only speculate where his soul is, considering what a
dirty lying Clinton pal he was.

You really HAVE served your country, haven't you?  I know what you
mean though. I campaigned and did all I could think of to get people
to vote with their heads...not their wallet, pocketbook, or groin.

I was in DC in 91 (Just in time!) and it was still breathtaking. Now,
I hear the Jefferson Memorial has become a favorite place for gays to
hang out (I cringe at the thought of the trash they reportedly leave
behind). Actually, the cleanest the place has probably been since 92
was when the Promise Keepers were there. And like you said, no
telling what we've had sold out from under us there, like everywhere.
