Don, it's a very interesting society that we live in, and very complicated,
but it works most of the time. I've also seen the weak take advantage of the
system. The last example I can think of was humorous in a way. This 40 year
old child with an 8 year old brain decided to play policeman, and he caught a
few folks who didn't need to be caught. Several officers on the department
tried to help him almost daily, and I guess he got stuck in a fantasy. We
solved the problem by giving him daily assignments. It was obvious that he
had downs syndrome, and most folks were very understanding. I guess it takes
all kinds of folks to make up the world, and I bet there is a purpose for
each one of them.
Happy Holidays!
