subject: Chess Files on Filebone!

What is the filebone and how do I access it. I am new to this whole fido
buisiness. What are the minimum system requirements for accessing the
filebone? I am running a DOS based system with a Hercules Monochrome Video
card. Do I need a color monitor? Do I need to have Windows? Do I need to
have access to a internet server or is there a number I can call directly?

Thank you for your time.
