There IS a fix... I left a message here (to ALL) earlier in January (on
the 10th).  Craig Healy figured out how to fix it... and details are on
his board, Chowdanet BBS.  (I used your name in the message, but it was
near the end of my first paragraph so I guess you haven't found that
message yet...)
