Part of the reason is the Republicans are far better organized. They have
spent a lot of time over the years building up local political
organizations. A very good move that the Democrats have to match.

They are better at hard nosed politics. Better at framing. Good at quips.
Much better at attack politics.

The corporate news seems to give them a free ride , until recently.

Those are some of the reasons in my opinion.
