Given that I said that PART of the reason is better organization I don't
think you should read that as being the only reason. Do you really think
that Gays and Abortion are relevant to ALL voters ? They are wedge issues
and the republicans are very good at using them.

I recognize a lot of things, even where I don't consider them to be major items.
