I run Synchronet and not MBSE. I have checked it out on numerous occasions
for the front-end mailer, but that is another story.

If I am correct, the line above means that you are running the program as a
user that has not been added as a valid SUperUser. If you were to run it as
root (often not a good idea), the error should not appear.

Again, if I am correct, you can find an introduction to sudo, or "super
user do" or "substitute user do". If I understand it
correctly, it is a
user trying to run a program that requires the super user (root) or the
permissions of the file(s) being run are owned by root or another incorrect
user.

chown user.group /path/to/file/filename or
chown user.group -R /path/to/file

The "-R' means recursive, or everything in the specified directory,
including subdirectories.

Long story short, I have no idea what error 7 is and I had little luck on
Google.

Hope school is going well.

Happy Easter!
