Troy- just a few comments. My Bearcat 590 draws 12ma? even when
turned off. It has a lithium batt. Have not figured out what the
12ma is for, much too much for memory. I have a relay wired to a
SPDT CO switch so I turn all my radios completely off, or on, or on
the ignition circuit. My BC has erratically lost memory for no good
reason, lithium is ok. Sometimes it will hold for a year or better,
     knock on wood.
Just bot a RS 394 comm radio. Has a 2020 lith button cell. Book
says it will hold for a month, and recharge in 4 days. I don't
think lith buttons are chargeable. Tom, in SW Colorado
