Hello, Paul....good to hear from you again...

The "mahogany bomber" may bring you more security but I'll bet not as
much fun as just boring holes in the sky with a well-tuned miniature
aircraft. Like you, my work career put me out of action for a number of
years - then I smartened up, left the desk to a younger person, retired,
and started having fun again.

Happy to see there are other "old f__ts" like me out there (gr) - I'll
bet you remember Berkeley Models also, I built several of those and also
tried to "fly" them, with a single channel Min-X receiver and home-built
Tx on 27 mhz - not too much success in those days. I still have an old
Kraft tube-type Tx and probably also a two-tube Rx somewhere stashed away
in the shop.

PE> As for that "SCREAMING 60", they call you "hook" now? :-)
The "screaming 60" didn't cut the finger OFF, just left a nasty scar -
that was long ago - I've smartened up a lot since then. Get back into
the hobby and keep writing - we'd like to hear some of your stories.
BTW - where are you writing from ??? TTYL - Roger
