Carol,

There was a TSR program I had years ago that was a "gag program", but
not a virus at all. After a certain number of keystrokes, the screen
would abruptly change, and pop up an ANSI screen, such as a clown
sticking his tongue in and out at you, or a message saying "Get Back To
Work", or some other zaniness. After a few seconds, the screen would go
back to normal, and obviously the end user was wondering "WTH??!!" .
But, while unnerving to the recipient, it was totally harmless.
Daryl
... You'll have no other Sysop before me (just kidding).
