I not sure what my smiley ment now... The power ball does repeat though.
With an RNG, a seed is kept track of. On my, a number is generated from the
seed (a CRC) from there, its up to the user to split the number down. when
you take a large number and divide it by a smaller number, it could generate
the same smaller number several times even with different larger numbers.
With RNG's, this helps remove any posibility of a pattern, which is the main
thing with computer RNGs, not to develope a pattern. The example I was
showing is capable of not generating a detectable pattern unless someone
ooks
at 4 billion numbers generated by my example, then they notice it, but who
as
the space to keep track of 4 billion numbers. (trust me, I tried, it would
require a couple 9 gig drives and several years)
I and others have always noted that commo never had any random number
generators, and some of us have wanted to create simple games (door styled
games) that would require random numbers (or so we call them random ;)
