From what I've read on the blogs (not much, other than he's the 16th
straight candidate supported by Daily Kos to lose), Hackett was a bit
schizophrenic, with the message changing depending on who he was talking
to.

And Schmidt has been categorized as a RINOs RINO, which might explain some
of the numbers.
